My Role in Building a Solid Family

The Family ,as the smallest unit of the society, should be strong. Without strong families there would be no strong society or a strong country. But the family itself is the one weakening the whole society. So in order to prevent the "break-down" of the society each member of the family should do something to make their families strong or better yet stronger.

The father as the "provider" of the family should work and provide his family with its needs. He should also don't forget to take care of his family and not be too workaholic and forget his family. The mother also has responsibilities to her family for example nurturing her children and molding them to be a good citizen someday. She should also work if the father's income is not enough for heir family. And the children should also do some responsibilities.

As a child, I should do some responsibilities for the betterment of the family. I should make the family stronger. I should make plans to make our bonds stronger. And I should also stop my family members quarreling or arguing. I should stand in the middle and be an umpire.

Father's Day

Father's Day is a day for dads around the world. During this day fathers from all around the world are given honors and time by their families. But Father's Day this year was very different as in very strange...

During past years I often say " Happy Father's day" to my dad which meant a lot to him. This year I did not even say those words to him, those very significant words... I did not even have the guts to speak to him on his special day. Maybe because ti was a Sunday and I was at the church the whole day or may be there's another reason...

I can't say that the main reason is that it's just a Sunday but partially it is. He was to busy the whole day  and I am too. I was busy helping mothers on their practice for their dance number for our church anniversary which will be next week already. He was also busy doing his affairs as the administrative pastor of our church. I don't know, how other people greet him even though he's busy.
Another reason maybe is that I'm quite shy. And I'm also thinking that I am already a third year student. But I think that's wrong. My own pride swallowed me. It devoured me. But as a son of a pastor I know I should be over my pride and it should NOT overcome me.

First Week of my Junior Life

First week of classes during elementary days are usually boring and gloomy but during the first week of my junior life, I felt something different. It was not dull and boring. It was fun maybe because I knew most of my classmates or maybe because I am a junior now and not a freshmen two years ago and also not a sophomore which I was the past year. We also did not have to introduce ourselves to each other, which is the thing I  really don,t like during the first week of classes.

First day of classes... I was waked up by my mother . I went to the kitchen and ate breakfast. I prepared myself for school while thinking about what will happen that day not even noticing that my service was already there. When I heard the familiar a beep.... a very familiar beep I started to rush fixing myself for school. When I was in the van, I noticed that I got the wrong pants and polo from the cabinet. Ha ha... that's the only thing I said to myself noticing my mistake.

When we arrived at school, the flag ceremony was about to start. Ricky and I ran to the Maliski Building and placed our things in front of our respective rooms. When I was going down the stairs, I saw one of my former classmate, Ara and helped her with her things. Then we both rushed to our respective lines. After the flag ceremony, we went straight to our room. We waited for our adviser to come. When our  adviser came she told us to clean. After we have cleaned, she gave us a brief discussion about chemistry and went to her next class. The next hours were the same that I did not notice that a teacher enter the room and leaves the room. Time passed by so quickly that I just noticed that it was time to leave school and go back home.

The next two days were the days for the diagnostic test. I told myself  "Time for test , time for torments".
During the first day of exam, everything seemed to be normal for me. But during that afternoon, Hans and I were nominated as the escort of the English club school level. But good thing we did not win. The days of exams were over and I was glad that I survived the exams.

The next two days of classes were not as fun as the first day but I was glad because Thursdays and Fridays means that Saturdays and Sundays will come. We lined up for the closing ceremony while listening to the speech of our principal and announcements of the YEC about their tree planting project on the Independence day. I was glad the first week has ended but more weeks will still be there before summer vacation comes....
